SAN DIEGO, CA – A motorcyclist died Saturday night after crashing at a busy intersection near the San Diego International Airport, reports Times of San Diego.
The incident happened around 9:45 p.m. at the intersection of Midway Drive and Barnett Avenue, which is just north of the Marine Corps Recruit Depot.
Police say the motorcyclist’s eastbound 2020 Triumph hit a curb in the intersection before crashing into a traffic barrier.
The motorcyclist died at the scene of the collision.
