ESCONDIDO, CA – A motorcyclist was killed this morning in a single-vehicle crash in Escondido.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the incident occurred at the intersection of East 17th Avenue and Encino Drive at about 1:20 a.m. Police say the motorcyclist lost control for unknown reasons and hit the curb before slamming into a utility pole.
The motorcyclist, whose identity is unclear at this time, was pronounced dead at the scene. No additional injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
