News: Motorcyclist killed in solo crash on I-805 at CA-15

SAN DIEGO, CA – A 23-year-old motorcyclist died Sunday after crashing along the interstate near the Azalea Recreation Area in San Diego, reports Fox 5 San Diego.

The incident happened around 11:10 a.m. near the intersection of I-805 northbound and State Route 15, which is in the Azalea-Holiday Park area.

It’s still unclear what caused the man to lose control of his motorcycle. Police say he struck a median and that the collision threw him from his bike. The victim died at the scene of the crash.
