SAN DIEGO, CA – Rush-hour drivers in La Mesa faced traffic delays following a crash on I-8 this morning.
According to Total Traffic San Diego, the collision occurred at about 9:15 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the freeway near the exit to El Cajon Boulevard.

We do not know what caused the crash at this time. However, at least two left lanes were closed as a result, causing delays in the area going back to 2nd Street for some time afterward.
