News: National City cyclist hit by car, suffers life-threatening injuries

NATIONAL CITY, CA – A cyclist is in critical condition after being struck by a car in National City on Monday morning, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. 

The victim, a 42-year-old man, was struck near the intersection of R Avenue and East Fifth Street around 6:30 a.m.

The victim was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Further updates on his condition are not currently available.

The woman in the car remained on the scene and is not believed to be at fault in the accident.
