SAN DIEGO, CA – Firefighters rescued two women on Sunday morning after their vehicle overturned at a Point Loma intersection, reports Fox 5 San Diego.
The incident happened around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Coronado Avenue and Catalina Boulevard, which is just north of Silver Gate Elementary School.
It’s still unclear what caused the crash, but authorities say the two women became entrapped in their vehicle. Firefighters worked diligently to extricate the women safely from the car, at which point medics determined that they were not injured.
