News: One injured after plane crashs on El Cajon highway

EL CAJON, CA – One person was injured on Thursday morning after thier plane crashed onto the I-8 Freeway in El Cajon, KRON4 reports. 

The 65-year-old pilot of a Cessna 195 was forced to make an emergency landing on I-8 near Greenfield Drive.

As they were landing, they struck a white Hyundai SUV. The woman in the Hyundai was uninjured.

The pilot suffered major, but non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital.
