News: One injured after plane lands on San Marcos street

SAN MARCOS, CA – A pregnant woman was injured after her SUV was struck by a plane making an emergency landing in San Marcos.

According to NBC San Diego, the accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Rancho Santa Fe Road and Melrose Drive.

A single-engine plane was making an emergency landing in the intersection when it crashed into the back of an SUV. A man and his pregnant wife were in the SUV and the woman was injured and taken to the hospital.
