News: One injured in Bonita accident

BONITA, CA – At least one person was injured following a major accident that shut down SR-54 on Saturday night, Fox 5 San Diego reports. 

The crash occurred on westbound SR-54 near the Briarwood Road exit around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday night.

It involved at least three vehicles, a red Ford Mustang, a black pickup truck and a Lexus. At least two flipped over in the wreck.

At least one victim was trapped in thier vehicle and had to be rescued by firefighters. He was then hospitalized.

No further information is available on the cause of the crash.
