SAN DIEGO, CA – A pedestrian was killed Sunday morning when they were hit by a train while walking in Encinitas, NBC San Diego reports.
The victim was hit by an AMTRAK train shortly before 11 while walking along the tracks near Leucadia Boulevard and North Vulcan Avenue.
Officers discovered the unidentified pedestrian dead at the scene.
