CHULA VISTA, CA – A man was seriously injured Wednesday morning when he was hit by a vehicle while pushing a cart in Chula Vista.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the man was hit at about 8:35 a.m. in the area of 3rd Avenue and Palomar Street.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. It is unclear if any charges will be filed against that individual.
