SAN DIEGO, CA – A woman was killed as she walked along eastbound I-8 early on Thursday morning, Fox 5 San Diego reports.
The accident occurred near Presidio Park around 12:30 a.m. The victim, who has not been identified, was walking on the highway when she was struck by a Subaru driven by a 24-year-old man.
She was killed at the scene. The driver remained at the scene and is not suspected of wrongdoing.
