News: Pedestrian killed by hit-and-run driver on SR-94 in Mt. Hope

SAN DIEGO, CA — A male pedestrian died early Tuesday after being hit by a vehicle on California Highway 94 in San Diego’s Mount Hope area, according to Times of San Diego.

The fatal incident occurred on the eastbound lanes near Federal Boulevard just before 1:00 a.m.

Few details have been released at this time, but the California Highway Patrol said the victim was walking on the eastbound highway near the exit when he was hit by a vehicle. The vehicle, whose make and model remains unknown, fled the scene without stopping.
