OCEANSIDE, CA – Authorities are searching for the driver who fled the scene after fatally striking a woman in Oceanside on Sunday morning.
According to Fox 5 San Diego, a black Honda SUV ran up on the curb near Benet Road and Leepish Drive at about 8:20 a.m and hit the woman. The vehicle then quickly made a U-turn and fled the scene.
Despite life-saving measures, the unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
