SPRING VALLEY, CA – A 28-year-old man was killed on State Route 94 in Spring Valley on Sunday morning, Fox 5 San Diego reports.
The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of State Route 94 near Spring Street around 2:30 a.m.
A 28-year-old man from San Diego had been involved in a two-vehicle accident when he got out of his car in the first lane of the highway. He was then struck by a 2013 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 27-year-old man from Spring Valley.
The victim, who has not been identifed, died at the scene. The Hyundai driver is suspected of DUI and was arrested.
