SAN DIEGO, CA – A pedestrian died last night after they were hit by a van while walking on I-805 in Otay Mesa West, according to CBS 8.
The victim was hit at about 8 p.m. while walking on the northbound side of the freeway just south of the Palm Avenue overpass.
The unidentified pedestrian suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
The van pulled off to the shoulder with its airbags deployed. It is unclear if any occupants of the vehicle were injured in the crash.
