News: Police investigate hit-and-run collision on 2nd Ave in Cortez

SAN DIEGO, CA – A hit-and-run driver struck and injured a pedestrian on the 1600 block of 2nd Ave Saturday, according to KGTV.

A Hyundai driver was heading south on 2nd Ave when they struck a 36-year-old man around 10 a.m.

Emergency crews transported the victim to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities located the driver and questioned and released him. Police do not believe impairment played a role in the collision.
