News: Police investigating Imperial Beach hit-and-run near 12th St

IMPERIAL BEACH, CA – Authorities are searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash on Friday morning in Imperial Beach, reports KUSI News.

The incident happened around 5 a.m. near the intersection of Imperial Beach Boulevard and 12th Street, which is just east of Veterans Park.

Police say the suspect ran from the scene on foot. They located a gun and drug paraphernalia in the damaged car.

It is unclear at this time if anyone was hurt or if any other vehicles were involved in the crash. 

A full investigation is underway.
