News: Possible injuries in Carlsbad auto vs. semi crash on I-5NB

CARLSBAD, CA – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck along the interstate in Carlsbad, reports California Highway Patrol.

The incident happened around 1:36 P.M. on the northbound side of I-5 at Poinsettia Drive, which is just west of Carlsbad Fire Station 4.

Officials say a Tacoma rear-ended an 18-wheeler on the northbound side of the interstate and that the semi-truck left the scene of the accident before officials arrived.
