News: Road rage causes deadly crash in Temecula

TEMECULA, CA – One person was killed in an accident caused by road rage in Temecula on Wednesday evening, the Times of San Diego reports. 

The accident occurred around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday evening on southbound I-15 near Winchester Road.

The victim, a 47-year-old man, was driving a Chevrolet Malibu when he got in a dispute with the driver of a Lexus GS450h. They then began racing and intentionally striking each other’s vehicles.

Eventually, both drivers lost control. The Malibu struck the median and rolled over, ejecting the driver. He was rushed to Inland Valley Medical Center, where he later passed away.

The Lexus driver, a 38-year-old man, was uninjured and remained at the scene. He was not arrested.
