SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A rollover wreck Saturday afternoon blocked part of northbound California Highway 67 near east Poway, according to the San Diego Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies with the SDSO’s Poway Station responded to the scene on the northbound lanes between Scripps Poway Parkway and Poway Road. The accident was first reported by the SDSO at 3:56 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what caused the crash, but officials said at least one vehicle overturned as a result.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area during the emergency response and investigation.

By 4:40 p.m., more than 45 minutes later, the scene had been cleared and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
The SDSO has not disclosed any details regarding potential injuries at this time.
