SAN DIEGO, CA – A man was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash on I-15 just north of downtown San Diego on Thursday afternoon.
According to NBC 7, the collision occurred in the southbound lanes of I-15 just north of the I-805 interchange at about 4 p.m.
Troopers say a 43-year-old San Ysidro man lost control of his pickup truck at a high rate of speed. The truck hit a guardrail and rolled over, ejecting the driver.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
