SAN DEIGO, CA – At least three lanes were closed on SR-163 after a multi-vehicle crash in Mission Valley on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a report by CalTrans San Diego, the crash happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. on the southbound lanes of the freeway just before the I-8 interchange.

The events leading up to the crash are not mentioned in the report. However, significant rush-hour traffic delays were reported going back to Genesee Avenue.
