SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA – Two young men died Sunday night after their vehicle crashed along a roadway in southwestern Orange County, reports Patch.
The incident happened just after 10 p.m. near the intersection of Rancho Viejo Road and Malaspina Road, which is near the Junipero Serra Park and Ride # 2.
Police say the 21-year-old driver, identified as Riley Hans Sullivan, crashed into a tree along the roadway. It’s still unclear what caused the man to crash.
Both the driver and his front-seat passenger, identified as 19-year-old Rez Aziz Devenny, died at the scene of the accident.
A backseat passenger went to the hospital with serious injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
