IMPERIAL BEACH, CA – Two teens sustained serious injuries when their vehicle crashed along a busy Imperial Beach roadway on Monday, reports abc10 News.
The incident happened just after 12:30 a.m. in the area of 700 Palm Avenue, which is just west of CA-75.
The investigation thus far indicates that that a speeding RAV 4 left the roadway, crashing into a curb and multiple light posts after overturning. Police think the driver’s high rate of speed may have caused them to lose control of their vehicle.
Medics transported both teen passengers to the hospital after they were extricated from the vehicle.
