SAN DIEGO CO., CA – A man was flown to the hospital following a fiery single-vehicle collision in Ramona on Monday afternoon.
According to Fox 5 San Diego, the 35-year-old driver of a Toyota Avalon lost control of his vehicle for unknown reasons on SR-67 near Rockhouse Road at about 1:30 p.m. The vehicle crashed through the guardrail and careened down an embankment before catching fire.
The unidentified driver was extricated and airlifted to Palomar Medical Center with major injuries.
