SAN DIEGO, CA – A driver was killed in a single-vehicle collision in east Chula Vista early Saturday.
According to NBC San Diego, officers responded to the 1900 block of Otay Lakes Road near SR-125 at about 12:35 a.m.
Investigators say the driver lost control of their vehicle for unknown reasons and crashed into a tree.
Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, the driver died at the scene. Their identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
