SAN DIEGO, CA – A female pedestrian suffered fractured ribs and wounds to the head after a vehicle struck her in North Park Sunday night, reports Fox 5 San Diego.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. in the area of 2800 El Cajon Boulevard, which is between Idaho Street and Utah Street.
The investigation indicates that the 25-year-old pedestrian attempted to cross El Cajon from north to south in an area marked inappropriate for foot traffic.
The dark-colored vehicle that hit the woman fled the scene.
