News: Teen airlifted in Oceanside hit-and-run

OCEANSIDE, CA – A 17-year-old boy went to the hospital with serious injuries after a suspected hit-and-run crash Monday night in Oceanside, reports Fox 5 San Diego.

The incident happened around 11:15 p.m. near the intersection of North Pacific Street and North Harbor Drive, which is in the South Harbor.

Police say the teen sustained injuries consistent with having been hit by a car. 

Medics airlifted the victim in critical condition to Scripps La Jolla.

Authorities located and detained a 15-year-old suspect in connection with the hit-and run.

A full investigation is underway.
