SAN DIEGO CO., CA – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a tractor-trailer fire on I-15 near Rainbow late Friday afternoon.
According to a report by CalTrans San Diego, the incident occurred just before 3 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the freeway at the Old Highway 395 overpass.

No information on the cause of the fire is available at this time. Commuters were advised to seek an alternate route as all northbound lanes were shut down as a result of the blaze.
