News: Train strikes, injures pedestrian near Taylor St

SAN DIEGO, CA – According to NBC San Diego, a train collided with and hurt a male pedestrian near the Old Town Transit Station at 4005 Taylor St on Dec. 24.

The train hit the victim around 9:50 a.m. Following the collision, rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Officials have not identified the victim.

The incident is under investigation by the Transit Enforcement Unit of the San Diego Sheriff’s Department.
