SAN DIEGO, CA – A Lemon Grove resident has been identified as the victim of a fatal two-vehicle collision Sunday in the Chollas View neighborhood.
According to Fox 5, the San Diego Medical Examiner’s Office said Fidel Gallardo, 63, was heading west within the 4500 block of Market Street when for unknown reasons his Nissan sedan swerved into the eastbound lanes of traffic and slammed into a Lexus SUV.
Paramedics transported Gallardo to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced a short time later.
The driver of the Lexus, 61, and a passenger did not suffer any injuries in the crash. Their identities are not listed in the report.
