SAN DIEGO, CA – Police have released the identities of the two people killed in a wrong-way collision in Mission Beach on Saturday.
According to a report by KGTV, 62-year-old Adam Small suffered a medical emergency and slumped over at the wheel while driving on Mission Beach Boulevard. Small’s vehicle then slammed into an oncoming Kia Sportage near the intersection with San Gabriel Place.
Small was pronounced dead at the scene. His wife, Mary Small, 70, was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital, where she died a short time later.
