News: Vehicle strikes, injures cyclist on Pacific Hwy

SAN DIEGO, CA – A 63-year-old cyclist sustained serious injuries Saturday when a vehicle struck him on a busy roadway in central San Diego, reports FOX 5.

The incident happened just before 7:45 p.m. in the area of 4900 Pacific Highway, which is in the Morena neighborhood just east of Mission Beach.

The investigation suggests that a northbound 2008 Toyota Corolla rear-ended the cyclist.

Medics transported the victim to the hospital with serious fractures.
