News: Vehicle strikes, kills pedestrian on I-805 in Mission Valley

SAN DIEGO, CA – A man was killed early Wednesday morning when he was hit by a vehicle while walking on I-805 in the Mission Valley area.

According to a report by Fox 5, the victim was struck by a Chrysler Sedan at about 4:48 a.m. while walking in the northbound lanes of the interstate, just north of the I-8 interchange.

The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Chrysler, a 41-year-old woman, remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
