News: Victim of Pacific Highway pedestrian crash identified

SAN DIEGO, CA – Authorities have identified the 38-year-old man who died in a San Diego pedestrian crash on February 14th.

According to Fox 5 San Diego, Joseph Michael Jorge Jacoby died after a vehicle struck him in the area of 4800 Pacific Highway, which is just south of Friars Road and the San Diego River.

Police say Jacoby was walking in the roadway when a northbound vehicle hit him around 6:32 p.m.

The victim died at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
