News: Woman crashs into San Diego church

SAN DIEGO, CA – A woman crashed into a church in San Diego on Friday morning after accidently hitting the gas pedal instead of the brake.

According to local news reports, the driver thought she had the vehicle in reverse but accidently accelerated forward and crashed into a church on Meadowbrook Drive.

The driver and a passenger were trapped in the vehicle and rescued by police. The driver was hospitalized with minor injuries and the passenger was uninjured.
