If you were involved in a car accident along Carlsbad’s dangerous highways, the steps you take in the moments afterward are vital when you decide to file a claim. You should pull to a safe part of the roadway before anything else. This action could potentially save you and your vehicle from another collision. After that, make sure all the occupants of your vehicle are safe. If anyone is hurt, contact emergency services right away. Once everyone is accounted for, you should begin to gather evidence at the scene and exchange contact and insurance information with any other drivers involved. Next, contact local authorities to file an official accident report before anyone leaves the scene.
