News: Wrong-way crash on SR-67 in Lakeside injures 4

LAKESIDE, CA – A wrong-way crash in the Lakeside area on Sunday night left four people injured, KGTV reports.

The collision occurred around 11:30 p.m. when a Toyota SUV was heading in the wrong direction on SR-67 near Mapleview Street and slammed head-on into another vehicle.

Three people in the vehicle that was hit were pinned as a result of the crash. Crews used the Jaws of Life to extricate those individuals. In total, four people were sent to area hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
