Freesia Farris

Case Manager

Freesia Farris, a Navy veteran, is one of the Case Managers for HHJ Trial Attorneys. Freesia was born in Connecticut and is currently residing in California due to her husband being Active-Duty Military. She has lived in many states including Texas, Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida prior to her arrival in California. Freesia had many achievements like competing in the Junior Olympics qualifiers attending an accelerated nursing program on a full ride scholarship.

One day on her ride home from nursing school, she felt a calling to do something more with her life thus turning into the parking lot of an Armed Forces Recruiting office and enlisting in the United States Navy. During her 5 years as a Hospital Corpsman, she was awarded three Naval Achievement Medals (NAM), Sailor of the Year, Sailor of multiple quarters, and won many other high honors. While serving Freesia maintained and operated the Medical Administration department of her Naval Ship, the USS Arlington (LPD 24) as well as Naval Hospital Portsmouth. Not only does she have experience in hospital administration, but she also carries extensive medical knowledge in combat care, wound care, as well as the ICU. She achieved the first Blue H, Surgeon General’s Health Promotion and Wellness award, and the Green H, Force Health, and Wellness award for her Naval ship during her deployment from 2014-2015.

Freesia honorably separated from the Navy due to her family growth and the demand of her husband’s naval career. Freesia graduated with her Bachelors in Business with a concentration in Healthcare Administration with a 4.0 from Southern New Hampshire University and is a member of the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success. In her spare time, Freesia enjoys spending time with her husband, their 3 children, working out, and adventuring outdoors.
