News: Police investigate after car crashes into La Mesa business

LA MESA, CA – A blue sedan left the interstate and crashed into the side of a business in La Mesa early Thursday morning, reports Times of San Diego.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. in the 5200 block of Jackson Drive, which is in the Jackson Square Center.

The investigation thus far indicates that the driver of the sedan lost control of the vehicle on the eastbound exit ramp from I-8 to Jackson Drive. The vehicle left the roadway, fell down and embankment, and crashed into the back of the business.

No injuries have been reported so far in connection to the collision.

A full investigation is underway.
