CHULA VISTA, CA – A woman died Thursday evening after a vehicle struck her at a busy intersection in Chula Vista, reports abc News 10 San Diego.
The incident happened around 6:43 p.m. in the area of Industrial Boulevard and Palomar Street, which is just southwest of Harborside Park.
The force of the collision threw the woman into the eastbound lane of traffic on Palomar, where she died.
Authorities say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to answer questions and render aid.
